My favorite "adult" beverage of all times is the margarita.
I have tried many different margaritas from many different restaurants, friends, and recipes from various sources. Hands down, the recipe I am about to share with you is my all-time favorite version. It is simple to make, only calling for a few ingredients, and receives rave reviews by all that drink it.
My very good friend Jessica is the one who shared this lovely recipe with me and I believed it was her mom Carole that shared it with her. However, I could be wrong about that last detail.
So as July 4th quickly approaches and you make your plans to celebrate, make sure you pick up the ingredients for this yummy, cold drink!
The Perfect Margarita
Ingredients:
- 1 large can of Limeade
- 1 12oz can of beer, any brand (we like to use cheap beer)
- 3/4 can tequila
- 1/4 can Triple Sec
- ice
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a pitcher. Stir. Serve.
- Make more.
Variations:
- If you want to make this a frozen margarita, make sure to let the beer sit out for a while, until it is flat. Then throw everything into a blend and blend.
- If you want a frozen flavored margarita, then add a handful of strawberries to the blender prior to blending. Keep adding ice until you get the desired consistency.
