
This is one of my all-time favorite "bar" recipes.
It's easy, with few ingredients and ALWAYS receives rave reviews from those I choose to share it with. In reality, my girlfriend Julie is the one who introduced me to this gem of a recipe and for that, I thank her.
Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb unsalted butter, melted
- 2 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup chunky peanut butter
- 2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 T unsalted butter
Directions:
- Mix together first 4 ingredients. Press into bottom of 9x13 pan.
- Melt together chocolate chips with butter. Spread chocolate mixture on top of peanut butter mixture. Chill; cut into small bars.
